UGC NET 2022 Cut Off marks has been released after the declaration of results. Candidates have to obtained the minimum cut off marks to get selected in the merit list.
The merit list is prepared category-wise and subject-wise for each subject. Only top 6% qualified candidates are considered for Junior Research Fellowship programme.
Candidates must check the cut off marks after its declaration by the officials. It is made available only through online mode.

Factors Determining Cut off
The cut off marks is different for various papers. Various factors are taken into consideration for determining the cut off marks. These factors are as follows:
- Difficulty level of the paper
- Reservation policies
- Number of candidates appeared for the exam
- Number of Candidate passed the exam
- Availability of seats
- Marking scheme
UGC NET 2022 Result
UGC NET 2022 Result has been declared by the prescribed authority on 13th April 2023 for December session. It has been released on 5th November 2022 for June session. Candidates can check their result by entering the application number, date of birth and roll number.
Candidates those gets selected in written test, their roll number are mentioned by displayed NTA on their website. One week after the declaration of , the marks of the candidates is also uploaded.
UGC NET 2022 Merit list
After the releasing of cut off marks by the prescribed authority, merit list is prepared. Merit list is prepared separately for JRF and assistant professor.
The merit list contain all the shortlisted candidates those have cleared the minimum cut off marks.
Top 15% candidates from the merit list is selected for the Assistant Professor only from each category and subject.
Separate merit list is prepared from the qualified candidates for JRF. The final subject wise and category wise merit list has been released based on all the papers given by the candidate.
UGC NET 2022 Counselling
After successfully qualifying the UGC NET 2022 entrance exam and cut off, the counselling process will be organized.
Candidates will be required to submit the counselling application with certain documents. Also, processing fee will be submitted by the candidates.

Candidates must carry the original and photocopy of the documents mentioned below:
- Class X and XII mark sheet and pass certificates
- Degree and provisional certificate
- UGC NET Admit card
- Scorecard/Rank card
- Counselling letter
- Category certificate (if applicable)
- Passport size photographs
- Medical documents
