Educational Qualification
- Applicants must be Indian citizens or subjects of Nepal/Bhutan or persons of Indian origin with eligibility certificates.
- For the Short Service Commission (Tech) entry, candidates must be 20–27 years old as of 01 April 2026 and hold a B.E./B.Tech degree in a relevant engineering discipline from a recognized university; final-year students can apply if they complete their degree by the cut-off date.
- Only unmarried male and female engineers are eligible, and candidates must satisfy prescribed medical and physical standards for service.
Age limit
- Candidates must be between 20 to 27 years as on October 1, 2026. Applicants must be born between October 1, 1999 and September 31, 2006, both dates inclusive.
