Mana Shankara Varaprasad Garu, starring Megastar Chiranjeevi, emerged as the clear Sankranthi winner despite stiff competition. Directed by Anil Ravipudi, the film struck a strong chord with family audiences, with Chiranjeevi’s towering stardom proving to be a major advantage.

After creating an all-time industry record on day 5 in the Telugu states overtaking RRR, Megastar once again unleashed box-office mayhem. On day 7, Mana Shankara Varaprasad Garu created yet another industry record by surpassing the previous highest day 7 earner, Ala Vaikunthapurramulo, by a comfortable margin in the Telugu states.

Typically, the final day of the Sankranthi season witnesses a notable drop in collections as people head back from their native places. However, Mana Shankara Varaprasad Garu defied the trend by posting an all-time record in Telugu states. Chiranjeevi has truly set the box office on fire, with the film already entering the profit zone in all territories. How far it will go from here remains to be seen.
