New Update on 02-08-2021: OJEE 2021 Counselling -The National Testing Agency (NTA), New Delhi, will be conducted the OJEE 2021 Counselling online on the official website, which is ojee.nic.in. The counselling is held in various rounds.Odisha JEE (OJEE) OJEE 2021 Counselling will be conducted by the Orissa Joint Entrance Examination Committee. The authorities will issue a written notice outlining the OJEE counselling process and timetable for 2021. To participate in the OJEE 2021 counselling scheme, candidates must first register online. Candidates must complete the remaining steps of OJEE counselling 2021, including option filling, locking, mock/temporary allotment, reporting at nodal centres, final seat allotment, and reporting at the allocated institutes, after successfully registering.

Only those candidates who qualify for the Odisha JEE Exam 2021 can participate in OJEE Counselling. Candidates who are interested and eligible can register for OJEE Counselling 2021 from 25th January 2021 To 10th February 2021. Therefore, in order to obtain a seat at any institution in the State of Orissa, candidates are expected to score good marks.Also, the OJEE 2021 Counselling Schedule will be published on the official website separately. Therefore, the candidates must keep a check on the Odisha JEE website for regular updates. Also, for every course, there will be a separate counselling schedule. Hence, candidates need to pay attention to their schedule and report to the college accordingly.

Step by Step detailed OJEE 2021 Counselling Process

Step 1: Registration- In the first step, eligible candidates will have to register online for the OJEE counselling process along with paying the counselling fee. Candidates will have to enter the following details for OJEE 2021 counselling registration-

  • OJEE 2021 Registration Number

  • Name of Candidate

  • Gender

  • Date of Birth

  • Details of Educational qualification

  • Details of Marks Secured in Special OJEE

After entering the above details, candidates will have to pay the OJEE 2021 counselling fee in online mode through Debit/credit card or internet banking.

Step 2: Choice Filling and Locking- Candidates must then fill in their preferences for colleges and courses in the following step. Candidates are encouraged to choose as many options as possible in order to maximise their chances of admission. Candidates must restrict their options to the time allotted.

Step 3: Temporary seat allotment- The authorities will release the temporary seat allotment based on the candidates’ chosen options and the OJEE merit list. On the official website, candidates will be able to verify their OJEE seat allotment result. Candidates will also be notified of their seat allocation status via email and mobile phone.

Step 4: Reporting at Nodal Centres for Admission Fee Payment- Candidates who will be allotted seats in temporary seat allotment will have to visit the nodal reporting centres for verification of documents as well as payment of admission fees. Candidates will also be required to pay Rs 25,000 as seat confirmation fees in any branch of Axis Bank/ State Bank through e-Challan or in online mode using credit/debit card.

  • Online registration slip of OJEE 2021 counselling.

  • Admission fee payment receipt.

  • Class 10th certificate/ any other document showing the candidate’s date of birth.

  • Class 12th standard mark sheet and pass certificate.

  • Resident/Nativity Certificate in original from concerned Revenue Officer not below the Tahsildar.

  • Original SC/ST/ Category Certificate by birth state of Odisha.

  • Income Certificate for TFW candidates.

  • Green Card issued by the Family Welfare Department of Govt. Of Odisha.

  • Ex-Serviceman candidates apply at Rajya Sainik Board and verify whether their name is recommended or not.

  • Original Certificate in support of Outlying Odia Speaking Tract category.

  • Certificate in support of NRI.

  • Medical Certificate from SCB Medical College by PC candidates.

  • Certificate of Employment of candidate’s parents from Govt of Odisha/Govt. Of India/Govt. Of India undertakings/Govt. Of Odisha undertakings located in Odisha at the time of application.

Step 5: Final Seat Allotment- The authorities will release the final seat allotment of OJEE 2021 after the completion of document verification and submission of fee at the nodal reporto=ing centres. The final seat allotment will be available on the official website. Candidates will have to download their seat allotment letters.

Step 6: Reporting at allotted Institute- Candidates who will be allotted seats in the final allotment will have to report to the allotted institute along with the seat allotment letter. Candidates must report to the allotted institute to confirm their allotted seats in the specified time. Candidates will also have to carry all educational documents along with other relevant documents to the allotted institute.

OJEE 2021 Counselling 2021 – FAQ

1. How are the seats are allotted in OJEE 2021?  

The seats will be allocated online by the admission authority of Odisha Joint Entrance Engineering Board (OJEEB). Candidates can check their seat allocation with the help of the JEE Main Application Number and Password

2. Is the OJEE counselling fee refundable?  

If a candidate wishes to withdraw from the OJEE 2021 counselling process, they must visit the nodal centre (where their documents have been verified) to withdraw from the counselling procedure within the given date. The amount deposited by the candidate for counselling will be then refunded to the candidate.

3. What is the OJEE 2021 counselling fee?  

The counselling fee for OJEE is Rs 1000/- for General Category and Rs 5,000/- for SC/ST/PwD Category

4. What happens during OJEE Counselling?  

During the OJEE counselling , candidates will have to fill out the registration form for counselling, pay counselling fees and fill out college choices. On the basis of the merit list, or the marks secured by candidates in OJEE 2021, the allocation of seats will be done.

5. Is there any age limit to appear in OJEE?  

Yes, the candidate must be at least 17 years of age.

6. Is the OJEE counselling fee refundable?  

Yes, the OJEE counselling fee is refundable if the candidates does not secure his/her seat.

7. What to do if I have not registered for OJEE counselling?  

Candidates who did not register for OJEE counselling and still want to be a part of the process have to carry two drafts of Rs 5000 and Rs 1000.
