Actor Atharvaa and Dawn Pictures recently worked on Parasakthi, and another film from the combination is now on floors. Titled Idhayam Murali, the movie shooting is progressing steadily and has been drawing attention with its casting and promotional updates.

The latest announcement from the makers is that Mollywood star Fahadh Faasil will be seen in a cameo role in the film. The team revealed this update through a special announcement video, which has added fresh buzz around the project.

Directed by Aakash Baskaran, the film is billed as a romantic coming-of-age drama. Thaman S is composing the music for the film and also plays a key role. The cast includes Kayadu Lohar and Preity Mukhundhan as the female leads, along with Natarajan Subramaniam, Niharika NM, and others in important roles.

Idhayam Murali is currently in production and is expected to hit theatres in 2026. The makers are yet to announce the exact release date.
