As per several media reports, the National Council of Educational Research and Training (NCERT) has removed the periodic table from Class 10 textbooks.
NCERT’s decision comes following a period of syllabus rationalisation during the deadly COVID-19 pandemic, in which these chapters were temporarily removed from the curriculum.
