Building on the foundation of โValues-Based Education in the Indian contextโ, second conference to explore with a theme: โ๐๐ฎ๐ฆ๐๐ง๐ ๐๐๐ฎ๐๐๐ญ๐ข๐จ๐ง ๐๐จ๐ซ ๐ ๐๐๐ญ๐ญ๐๐ซ ๐๐จ๐ซ๐ฅ๐.โ This event served a powerful forum for our nationโs top academic minds to champion the integration of human values and ethical consciousness into higher education. The goal of the conference is to foster inclusive, socially responsible universities that cultivate character and conscience, aligning with the transformative vision of the National Education Policy (NEP) 2020.

Ramji, Vice-chancellor, Krishna University participated in the said conference organized by Sri Sathya Sai University for Human Excellence (SSSUHE) at ๐๐ซ๐ข ๐๐๐ญ๐ก๐ฒ๐ ๐๐๐ข ๐๐ซ๐๐ฆ๐๐ฆ๐ซ๐ฎ๐ญ๐ก๐๐ฆ ๐๐ฎ๐๐ข๐ญ๐จ๐ซ๐ข๐ฎ๐ฆ, ๐๐๐ญ๐ก๐ฒ๐ ๐๐๐ข ๐๐ซ๐๐ฆ๐, ๐๐ฎ๐๐๐๐ง๐๐ก๐๐ฅ๐ฅ๐ข, Bangalore, ๐๐๐ซ๐ง๐๐ญ๐๐ค๐ on ๐๐ & ๐๐ ๐๐ฎ๐ฅ๐ฒ ๐๐๐๐. 50 Vice-Chancellors from leading Indian Universities across 15 Indian States gathered to deliberate deeply, discuss openly, and agree unanimously that education has to facilitate in invoking the innate humaneness in every individual. The insightful discussions deepened the commitment to Humane Education for a Better World and culminated with the following resolution, unanimously adopted by all the academicians, participants and Vice-chancellors present throughout India.
โIt was observed that simple but practical and effective strategies need to be formulated and implemented in a step-by-step manner to achieve the mighty goal of โhumanising educationโ. This calls upon a concerted national level effort which will combine the efforts of multiple institutions for a longer and sustainable timeframe. It was unanimously resolved that Sri Sathya Sai University for Human Excellence with its excellent background of commendable efforts in values based education would spearhead this national level effort along with other institutions who align with this idea of infusing values-based humane education into our education systemโ.
During the Conference, the unique and innovative ideas of โHumane Quotientโ (HuQ) and โHuman Excellence Quotientโ (HeQ) provided a framework for measuring inculcation of human values by any individual, in particular, by students. The ideas were well appreciated and it was agreed by the member participants of the conference to implement the ideas at their higher educational institutions.
