IIT Madras has announced the top 25 teams for the fourth Carbon Zero Challenge, promoting sustainability startups. With over Rs. 5 crore funding for 100 teams, it has already fostered 13 startups and transformed 42 students and eight faculties into entrepreneurs. The selected teams will receive up to Rs. 5 lakh and six months to develop prototypes. The initiative, supported by Thales and Aquamap, aims to address environmental challenges through innovative solutions.
