A Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) was formally signed on 30th June, 2025 between Manorama And Arjuna Rao Ravuri Public Utility (MAARPU) Trust and Krishna University, Machilipatnam, marking a significant step towards academic collaboration and social responsibility. The MoU aims to develop a tailored program that addresses the current and future workforce needs of MAARPU Trust while simultaneously providing study-related work experience to students pursuing in constituent and its affiliated colleges of Krishna University. The collaboration envisions a holistic platform for up-skilling and the comprehensive development of student interns.
The key objective of the MoU is to offer supervised, on-the-job training and learning opportunities in areas aligned with students’ fields of study including Human trafficking and its impact on society, Mental Health and Well-being to students, Health and Nutrition, ICC – Sexual exploitation & Women safety and security measures, Drug abuse & Anti-ragging issues, Menstrual Hygiene & Low HB in girl students, Information centre on women related issues, Rural Entrepreneurship, Monthly audits documentation with photographs to ensure hygiene compliance, Crisis Response and trafficking Management, Capacity building programmes, Outreach, University Social Responsibility and Society connected activities and Cyber crime. Smt. Suez Ravuri, Director, MAARPU Trust, Prof. M.V. Basaveswara Rao, Rector, Prof. N. Usha, Registrar attended the programme.
