Punjab Class 8 Result 2024 or Punjab 8th class result 2024 will be released by the Punjab School Education Board on its official website, pseb.ac.in.

Students who appeared the Punjab board 8th class exams can check details and download the results by using the date of birth and roll number as mentioned on admit card from the website.

Apart from the official website, the Punjab Board 8th results are also available at indiaresult.com.

Students can also check their detailed marks at digilocker as well as via SMS. To check PSEB Class 8 results via SMS, students need to type PB8 (roll number) and send to 5676750.

Over 3 lakh students appeared in the Punjab 8th board examination 2024 that were conducted from April 7 to April 28.

The Class 8 exam was held between 10 am to 12.15 pm for some papers, while for other papers the PSEB board exams were conducted from 10 am to 11.15 pm, 10 am to 1.15 pm, and 10 am to 12.45 pm.

Even though the Punjab 8th result is being announced online, not anyone and everyone will have access to scores.

Students will have to use the admit card or hall ticket given to them to access the 8th result. The PSEB class 8 result will only be available after the student enters the date of birth and roll number as mentioned on admit card.

Students can check their result by using the roll number mentioned on admit card. After downloading the PSEB 8th mark sheet, candidates must verify their names, subjects, school name, and roll number.

Students should also check the spelling of their names. In case of any discrepancy in the PSEB 8th marksheet, candidates need to get in touch with the Punjab Board authorities as soon as possible.

To pass the exam, students need to obtain at least 33 per cent marks in each subject as well as aggregate barring Punjabi and Punjab history and culture subjects in which passing marks are 25.

The Punjab School Education Board (PSEB), Mohali declared the class 8 board exam results on its web portal. Students will be able to check their result at official website pseb.ac.in. Students will be eligible to download their marks from the official website which will act as provisional marksheet.

  • Students need to visit the official website of Punjab School Education Board, pseb.ac.in in your device web browser.
  • Once you reach the official website, click on Punjab class 8 result link on the home page.
  • On the result checking web page, enter your roll number and date of birth, and click on the submit button.
  • After clicking on the submit button, your PSEB 8th result will be displayed on the screen. Download the result and take a printout for future reference.

How to Ensure No Error in Punjab class 8 Marksheet?​


The printout of the online Punjab class 8 result will be considered provisional marksheet. Students need to ensure there is no error on the provisional result. In case of an error, they will have to get it checked at the earliest. Here are things to check to ensure your result is error less.

  • Visit the official website of DigiLocker at digilocker.gov.in.
  • Click on the link reading, ‘Register for DigiLocker’.
  • Enter a valid mobile number and click on the ‘Continue’.
  • An OTP will be sent to the registered mobile number, use that OTP to verify your number.
  • Set your username and password to sign up. Keep the username and password safely for subsequent login.
  • Now enter your 12 digit Aadhar number.
  • Choose any of the signup options.
  • Sign in using your registered user name and password to save your documents in DigiLocker.

For example, if a student’s roll number is 12345 they need to send PB10 12345 to 5676750 and they will get detailed marks in form of SMS.
