The Tamil Nadu Public Service Commission has completed the TNPSC Departmental Exam registration process on online mode. Eligible and interested candidates were registered for these exams and they are waiting for their hall tickets for appearing the departmental exams.
TNPSC will conduct TN departmental examinations in the month of May. The departmental exam will be conducted in two shifts- the first shift from 9.30 am to 12 noon and the second shift from 2.30 pm to 5 pm. The sessions will vary as per the specific examinations.

The memorandum of admission / hall ticket can be downloaded from the Commission’s website by presenting the unique online application number and date of birth. The memorandum of admission / hall ticket shall be retained for future reference by the candidates and the request for re-issue of hall ticket will not be entertained, strictly.
All the candidates shall be present in the examination venue one hour before the commencement of the examination., i.e., 8.30 a.m. for forenoon session and 1.30 p.m. for afternoon session However candidates are not allowed inside the venue beyond 9.00 a.m. and 2.00 p.m. in the forenoon and afternoon sessions, respectively.

Instructions
- Candidates coming without downloaded hall tickets will not be permitted to write the examination.
- The candidate has to appear for the examination where he/she has been allotted to the examination.
- Change of centre or venue is not permitted.
- He/she has to carry the Hall Ticket (Admission Card) and same has to be produced at the examination venue.
- Each candidate will be assigned a computer to take up the examination.
- Candidates will be provided with a user name and password to login the system. Necessary instructions will be displayed on screen. Kindly read all the instructions carefully.
- Answer sheet answered in a Departmental test other than the test mentioned by the candidate in the application/specified in the Hall Ticket will be invalidated.

Once you reach the website, on the right side of the homepage, check the section of Departmental Test and click on the first link that reads 'Departmental Examination'. A new page will appear on your screen.

On the Departmental Examination website, click on the hall ticket link. Then hall ticket downloading web page will appear in your device.
- Enter login details
On the hall ticket downloading web page, enter your registration number in the given box and click on the download button.
