As per the schedule announced by the EC, the polling for the second phase of elections for the Meerut-Hapur Lok Sabha seat is scheduled to take place on April 26. Security forces have been deployed at these polling stations to maintain a peaceful environment during the elections.

Considering students’ safety and to prevent any inconvenience caused by the election process, teaching activities in schools will be suspended on April 24 and 25. Additionally, schools will remain closed on April 26 due to the voting day being declared a public holiday.

To closely monitor sensitive areas, District Election Officer, DM Deepak Meena, conducted a meeting with the Assistant Returning Officer (ARO) and sector and zonal magistrates at the Vikas Bhawan Auditorium and said the preparations for the upcoming voting were reviewed during the meeting. The DM instructed the officials to visit sensitive areas and communicate with the voters.
