UPSC Civil Service 2023 Topper List: Meet Animesh Pradhan, Graduate From NIT Rourkela, Who Secures Rank 2

UPSC 2023 Topper List: The Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) on Tuesday released the final results of the Civil Services Examination and as per the toppers list, Aditya Srivastava has topped the examination by scoring All India Rank (AIR) 1. After Aditya, Animesh Pradhan from Odisha has scored the AIR 2, followed by Donuru Ananya Reddy at the third spot.

As the results are out, over 1016 candidates have been recommended for appointment for the posts of Indian Administrative services, Indian Foreign Services, Indian Police Services and Central Services. However, the candidature of 355 recommended candidates has been kept provisional for now.

Animesh Pradhan (Roll No. 6312512) graduated (B Tech.) in Computer Science from NIT Rourkela and secured second rank with Sociology as his optional subject.

Apart from Animesh Pradhan, Odisha’s Prajnandan Giri has secured 24th rank, Ayushi Pradhan of Odisha has secured 36th rank and Jayasree Pradhan has secured 52nd rank.

UPSC Civil Service 2023: Check details


The UPSC Civil Service Preliminary Examinations 2023 were held on May 28 last year, followed by the UPSC Mains examination that was conducted throughout September 2023.

Then, the interviews for the personality test were conducted in January-April 2024.
