c. Article 371 (d): 15% of the total seats shall be jointly allotted to the two States, namely Telangana and Andhra Pradesh, as specified in the Presidential Orders, Article 371 (d), and Section 95 of the Andhra Pradesh Redistribution Act, 2014. The remaining 85% seats should be allocated to local students from Telangana.
d. Result released only for 85% Seats (Telangana): The current selection, under the first phase, was done only for 85% local students from Telangana state.
e. Result would be released for 15% Seats (2 States): The selection for the 15% seats jointly allotted to the two states, Telangana and Andhra Pradesh, will be held later.

TS/AP Model School candidates: All the candidates who studied in TS/AP Model Schools are considered under Non- Residential Govt. It is the responsibility of students/parents to make all suitable travel arrangements so as to reach the University by 10.00 AM on the above said date(s). Admission shall not be given, if the student fails to attend the counseling in person on the above date and time for whatsoever reason. The seat will be allocated to the next best candidate.
II. Mere attending the counseling does not guarantee a seat. The admission will be given only if the candidate fulfill all the eligibility criteria and pay relevant fee after the verification of original certificates / documents. The selection stands cancelled in case candidate fails to produce the original certificates mentioned below at the time of verification or fail to pay the relevant fee.
Documents to be brought
The candidates shall bring the following documents /certificates in original along with three sets of their Xerox copies.
- Hall Ticket of 10th Class Board Examination or Equivalent.
- Grades Sheet of 10th Class Board Examination.
- 10th class examination pass certificate and qualified the exam in the first attempt in the year 2024.
- Conduct Certificate from 4th to 10th class.
- Transfer Certificate (TC). However, in the event of already taken admission elsewhere, the candidate can be given time to produce TC within four days giving an undertaking to that effect and the admission will be withheld.
- Two passport size photographs of the candidate and parent.
- Aadhar Card.
Fee Payment
The following is the fee structure for each student who is admitted under the Global category into 6 Year Integrated B.Tech programme of the University.
Final Selectees should pay the required amount of the fee as mentioned above, in form of the Demand Draft in favour “The Director RGUKT, Basar” from any nationalized bank payable at Basar. DD shall be paid at the campus on the same day of counseling (service is available at bank on the campus)
For further information, if any, the candidates selected for counseling may contact Basara Campus. The candidates selected for admission shall be prepared to go through the intensive learning programmed at the RGUKT, and will have a fruitful learning time there leading to a bright career.
The candidates selected for admission after counseling need to sign a declaration concerning the rules and regulations of the RGUKT at the time of admission.
