The candidates who got rank in the B.Ed entrance test can pay Registration Fee of Rs.500/- for online Registration and exercising Web options for Distance B.Ed. Admissions for the year 2023-25.
For this, candidates have to upload the scanned copies of relevant certificates and exercise web options. Seat allotment will be done based on the merit and considering the social reservations.
After all this process, provisionally selected candidate has to pay prescribed tuition fee of Rs.40,000/- (Rupees Forty thousand only) and report to the University along with the original certificates and the tuition fee receipt.
The provisional allotment order and ID card will be issued to student only after successful verification of original certificates by the University.
The qualified candidates of Open B.Ed. Entrance TEST should attend web based counseling for admission into Two years (2) B.Ed programme through ODL for the academic years 2023-2024.

Distance B.Ed Tuition Fee
The tuition fee details and available seats at each Program Center are available on the website before counseling starts. The tuition fee for the B.Ed. Program is Rs. 40,000, and it takes two years to complete.
Eligibility for Distance B.Ed Admission
- The candidate should be an Indian citizen.
- Candidates should have passed with at least 50% of marks either B.A./ B.Sc./B.Com./ B.C.A./B.Sc. (Home Science)/ BBM/BBA/ B.E/B.Tech.
- The candidates belonging to SC/ST/BC/PWD should have secured a minimum of 40% marks in the qualifying examination.
- The students who wish to take admission in B.Ed. with B.E/ B.Tech must have Science/Mathematics as one of the subjects.
- B.C.A. candidate must pass Intermediate with concern subjects to opt the Methodology.
- The Candidates who have completed (passed) the qualifying examination conducted during the month of July, 2023 on or before are only eligible.
- The candidate not have required percentage of marks in Undergraduate, the marks secured in Post-Graduation will be considered (If he/she studied relevant subject at PG).
- The following categories are eligible to be seek admission into B.Ed. (ODL):
- (i) Trained in-Service teachers in elementary education.
- (ii) Candidates who have completed a NCTE recognized teacher education programme through face-to face mode.
- The reservations for SC/ST/BC/PWD categories shall be as per the rules in vogue.
- EWS quota seats will be allotted to the eligible candidates on production of the relevant certificates/documents.
- 10. PH, Sports, NCC and CAP quota seats will be allotted to the eligible candidates on production of the relevant certificates/documents.
- Candidate should have completed 21 years as on 1st July 2023. There shall be no upper age limit.
Open B.Ed Certificate Verification and Counseling
- If you’ve been selected, you need to go to the CSTD Hall at Dr.B.R. Ambedkar Open University in Hyderabad to verify your original certificates in person.
- Before you can choose your options, you’ll find instructions on the university website, .
- The list of chosen candidates will be sorted by Programme Center and put on the university website. You’ll also get an SMS if you provided a valid phone number.
- Pay your tuition fees online at .
- You’ll only get your final seat after all your certificates have been checked and you’ve shown proof of fee payment.
- Go to your assigned Programme Center and show them your allocation letter within the given time.
- The university will give you an allocation letter that you’ll need to give to your assigned Programme Center.
- Hand in copies of all your certificates to the university, attested by someone trustworthy.”
