Ph.D. Distance Education Admission?


Admission to the Ph.D. degree program commences every year at a part-time and full-time level. The universities that begin admission for the Ph.D. degree programs are IGNOU, Nalanda Open University, Vardhaman Mahaveer Open University, and more. The admission process for Ph.D. is arranged offline or online. Applicants can pick any option to apply for the Ph.D. degree program in distance education.

Candidates should have passed a master’s degree with 55% marks from a university recognized or approved by UGC. The entrance tests that are used for admission to a Ph.D. degree program are UGC-NET, CSIR-NET, JRF, etc. Shortlisted candidates through the entrance exams are required to deposit the first-year fee at the time of making an admission.   • Candidates can apply for PhD program if they have passed the last term of their M.Phil with a score of at least 50% from a well-known and approved Indian university.
  • In India, you must have a master’s degree in the field you want to study for your PhD. Some schools have entrance exams that you have to pass in order to get in. Candidates in their last year of college can take the NET (National Eligibility Test) and get into the programme.
  • For engineering students to get into PhD college, they need a valid GATE result card. Those who are at the top of their BE or BTech program at their university can get straight admission to the programme.
