Sivakarthikeyan’s ‘Madharaasi’ secures OTT and satellite partners
Sivakarthikeyan’s upcoming psychological action thriller, ‘Madharaasi,’ has locked in major post-theatrical distribution deals ahead of its September 5th release.It has been confirmed that Amazon Prime Video has acquired the digital streaming rights, while the satellite rights have been secured by the ZEE network.
This move ensures the film a massive reach after its theatrical run. Directed by the veteran A. R. Murugadoss, ‘Madharaasi’ marks an exciting collaboration and is set to be a comeback for the director.
The trailer, which was recently unveiled at a grand launch event, has showcased Sivakarthikeyan in a gritty, never-before-seen avatar, promising an intense action drama centered on the drug mafia in Chennai.
The film also stars Rukmini Vasanth and Vidyut Jammwal in key roles.
