Uttar Pradesh Class 10: The results of the Uttar Pradesh Madhyamik Shiksha Parishad (UPMSP) for the UP Board Class 10 and 12 examinations were announced on April 20 in which the students of Class 10 (high school) showcased commendable performance with an impressive overall pass percentage of 89.55%.
As the results were declared, one of the students in class 10 could not handle the outcome and passed out.
The incident is reported from Meerut, Uttar Pradesh where a 16-year-old student fainted after seeing his UP board Class 10 result.
The student, identified as Anshul Kumar from Maharishi Dayanand Inter College Modipuram, Meerut, scored 93.5%.
Given the situation, it was obvious for Anshul Kumar to be elated with the outcome of his efforts. However, things changed drastically from happiness to anxiety and fear as he suddenly collapsed moments later, leaving his family in shock.
The family tried their best to wake him up from the shock but didn’t succeed and his condition started to deteriorate. Anshul was rushed to a hospital where he was admitted to the ICU for treatment, reported India Today.
Anshul’s father, Sunil Kumar, who is a contract worker at the post office, recounted the distressing incident to India Today.
According to Anshul’s cousin Pushpendra, Anshul became stable after his admission to the ICU. However, it is reported that he is still hospitalized and is undergoing further treatment.
In the UP Board Class 10 exam 2023, Priyanshi Soni clinched the top spot with an impressive score of 590 marks. Following closely behind were Kushagra Pandey and Mishkat Noor, both securing 586 marks and jointly holding the second position. The third rank was achieved by Krishna Jha, Arpit Gangwar, and Shreyasi Singh, each also scoring 586 marks in the same examination.
